As a member of the Construction Law Committee of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel, Howard Huntington co-authored the IDC’s latest monograph entitled “Where Construction Cases are Really Won: Risk Transfer, Insurance, and Illinois Law”. The article covers topics including contractual risk transfer, insurance considerations, targeted tenders, Kotecki cap waivers, damage waivers and exculpatory clauses, choice of law and forum selection clause disputes, and practice tips.
